 1. The Christian view does not make all physical existence divine. In pantheism ("God is everything''), if we annihilate the creation, we annihilate part of God (unless,  as Hindus say, all is illusion). Nevertheless, from the Christian perspective, God is ''in'' the creation in a similar (though not identical) manner in which Brahma ("world soul' ') is ' 'in' ' the creation, according to Vedantic metaphysics (the Vedas are the Hindu sacred writings).  Although there is a similarity, the differences are vital.
