Dear Teachers,  

Once again we have some parents who are willing to come into your classroom to share the traditional, historical Christmas story.  We have found it to be a fun and educational experience for the children.

We make an effort to make the presentations age appropriate.  Sometimes we use nativity figurines, a book or ornaments to tell the story.  For the upper grades we may address the story from an historical or geographical point of view.  Plan on about 30 minutes for the story.

We would love to come to your classroom!  Please sign up on the list in the office.  We will be available                       

Attached is a letter to send home to the parents.  We have done extensive research and are confident this is an appropriate, legal, and acceptable activity.  However, we do offer the option for a child to be excused if the parents so desire.
