To depend on God is not a sign of being a personality cripple. There has only been one flawless personality in history, Jesus Christ. If anyone did not need to depend on God it was Him, Yet His dependence was total. "The Son can do nothing of his own accord," John 5: 19, Even if we too were perfect, we would still find our freedom in trusting and obeying God. But as we are far from perfect, if we are honest we will see our desperate need of Him. Law Two explains that we were made for fellowship with God but has turned to our own way. Machinery always works best when it operates according to the maker's instructions. To operate any other way is to limit ourselves.
